I have the original 5D model from many years ago, I have built 25+ ars in numerous calibers using 7075 forged aluminum lowers.
I purchased a new mil end when buying the jig thinking I would need to swap it by now but using cutting fluid with every pass, the mill end still cuts aluminum like melted butter.

le however I will say it is a pain to get spare parts since 5D is no longer allowed to sell direct to the customer.
I pray modulus gets the shipment of parts soon.
Please email me when you get a spare parts shipment, I need a new top plate or a discount on a new jig would be awesome too. Read Less
